Oscar loves Scotty J.

you know, if Oscar couldn't have gone home with either Joaquin Pheonix or Terrance Howard, then he sure did choose a good companion. everyone knew that Scotty J. was long overdue. he's been bringing it since, oh i don't know, fall of 1976ish. interesting enough, the thank you list was rather short. i'm not one to make false accusations, but there must be a bit of bad blood between the winner and our boys Brock Landers and Chest Rockwell. i for one did not see that one coming, folks.

the show was long. the highlights are short. i'll admit, i only watched a small portion of the last hour or so. i missed some of the biggest awards of the night. i heard 'healthiest' female of the evening went to Jen Lindley from "Dawson's Creek", narrowly beating out latina heat, Salma Hayek.

lest i forget, the Swank brought it yet again. if Kenny Rogers ever decided to write another great country and western song, it would be titled "Ace in the Hole". only that it would be incorrectly perceived to be about a great hand of poker, when in actuality it would be written about every man's object of desire, the Swank.

by the way, did i call it or what? Three Six Mafia stormed Hollywood and no one knew what hit them. well, no one except for the fine citizens of Memphis, Tenn. the big question backstage had to be what DJ Paul and the boys were going to be wearing on the red carpet. it's good to see they kept it real and went with the Mike Schmidt spring collection. then again, they never really seemed like a Vera Wang kind of group.
